Paper advertising

This used to be the only source of marketing that existed prior to the internet. Prior to the internet taking over the way we shop for properties, and two homes ago. We were wanting to purchase a new family home, I had the paper delivered, it arrived at 4am and this is when I had to get up to start the search. I would literally have to look over every sing page in the 40 odd page corporate section to look for properties that both were in my target areas and price range. Then painstakingly note each property address, price, features, agent and page reference number on a log, then also write down the UBD map coordinates and time it was open. This took hours to complete every Saturday morning. We look at hundreds of properties and spent 3 months looking. The last home we purchased in 2008, we only looked at 4 homes before we made a decision and purchased. Only took a few weeks. Purchases can do what took me hours years ago in just 3-5 clicks. The portals we market your property with have capability to create lists of properties in a budget range , in a desired area, with open times as well as maps. The system will even prioritize properties according to open times. It's a no brainer! Hardly any thinking involved and certainly less stress. The paper advertising has improved, they had to, however how much do we want to spend to get exposure to that very small group of people maybe only 2% of the buyer market.

We keep a very good data base of buyers we meet, we also have other potential buyers in our client lists.eg; our landlords and investors. We believe in matching our clients with product and this is what we endeavour to do every time.


Sales team
